Description:Course objective: Develop an integrated, multidisciplinary understanding of the geomorphological, hydrological, and ecological principles that govern river hydroecosystem structure and function. Apply this knowledge to managing rivers to sustain riverine (aquatic and riparian)habitat and biota, in the face of increasing human demands, spread of non-native species and uncertainties posed by climate change.
